Introduction
We have seen the conflict of the Middle East until now and if keeping track of its origin and background, you must notice the tremendous darkness.
Many people seem to know it, but actually don’t know it.

About ten years ago, I have asked three men about some conflicts.

Question 1, “Why are there many civil wars in Africa?”

The answer, “I am sure the reason is because each tribe is blocked by jungle.”

Question 2, “Why are there less conflicts in Southeast Asia (Continent)?”

The answer, “I think it is because each country is blocked by several mountain ranges.”

Question 3, “Do you think it was good that the Cold War ended?”

The answer, ” The world got worse. The world was peaceful because the United States and the Soviet Union were facing each other, but the civil wars began to occur in various places since then.”

Those who answered were ordinary men, but I think their social consciousness was somewhat high.
What do you think of their answers?
It seems to be like certainly true.
At that time, in the process of looking for the answer, I felt a little query about the answers, but I could not deny it.

After all, it is necessary to know the truth to understand the problems of the Middle East.

What does it mean to know this truth?
There are three stages.

A: There are structural factors that certain society (nation) continues to be exhausted.

B: Many of its origins occurred by external pressure.

C: Everyone else is indifferent to the external pressure.

You can consider two examples.

Case 1
A large earthquake hit an island and half of the houses collapsed.
On the other hand, the fields and the fishing ground were safe.
All residents were able to help each other, receive assistance from nearby islands, and the island returned to normal living.

Case 2
A gold mine was discovered on an island, and eventually struggle began.
A continental merchant who knew it sold the islanders weapons and the battle became decisive.
This winner and the merchant gained wealth.
Later, when a massive earthquake struck the island, nobody helped each other, and it turned into a battlefield again.

This simple cases illustrates the mentioned three stages.
I think you roughly understand about the stage A and B.
I think it is difficult to understand the stage C.
The problem is to say that people of the continent do not know the acts of the merchant and are indifferent about it.
But actually, the people of the continent indirectly got the economic benefit, and the islanders were holding a grudge against it.

What I want to clear
From now on, we pursue the disasters brought by colonization (imperialism) for centuries and the Cold War for half a century.
Countries that didn’t suffer this disaster doesn’t seem to exceed 10 among 200 countries.
The important point is not the hugeness of the casualties and deprivation but what reason a lot of societies had to continue to be exhausted.

Unless we can understand this, human beings deepens the breakup, and there is a possibility of entering the century of war again.

My way of doing deals with some representative facts and will summarize its structure.

This continues the next time.
