I am honestly happy about the birth of President Macron.
Above all, this exploit was the victory of the conscience of France.
Moreover, this is also a moment that France protected a light of world peace.

 

マクロン大統領の誕生を心からお祝い申し上げます。
この快挙は、何よりもフランスの良心の勝利です。
さらにはフランスが世界平和の灯を守ってくれた瞬間でもあります。

Now, the world is being bombarded with disasters that has been scattered by human action, people are increasing hatred and the society is deepening antipathy.
It is eroding Japan, the United States, the UK, China, the Soviet Union, and the EU.
Also in France, people that are hostile to globalization enlarging terrorism, immigrants, and inequality is increasing.

However, the French people may have kept in mind that former conflicts and divisions caused major disasters (a panic and war).
And the people stopped the rightward tilt.

France added one more glory to the honor of the world’s first citizen revolution.
Congratulations from Japan in a corner of Asia.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

 
今、世界は人類自ら招いた災厄に翻弄され、憎しみを増し、対立を深めつつあります。
それは日本、アメリカ、英国、中国、ソ連、そしてEUを蝕みつつあります。
そしてフランスにもテロと移民、格差拡大などのグローバル化を敵視する人々が増大していた。

しかし、ここに来てもフランス国民は、かつての対立や分裂が大きな災厄（恐慌や戦争）を起こしたことを肝に銘じたのでしょう。
そして国民は右傾化にノーを突き付けた。

フランスは世界初の市民革命の誉れにまた一つ、栄光を加えた。
アジアの片隅の日本から、お祝いし、心から感謝します。

In both Japan and the United States, there was a time when we entrusted hope for political renewal ten years ago.
However, now the back action has begun to grow.
New president and citizens should beware of it.

I am going to visit France for the next couple of weeks and I want to share this joy with you.

日本もアメリカも、１０年前は政治刷新に希望を託した時期がありました。
