I introduce scenes from Ine bay in Tango Peninsula to Amanohashidate today.
This is the end of my itineraries of when I traveled from May 12 to 14, 2016.

 

今日は、丹後半島の伊根湾から天橋立を紹介します。
これで２０１６年５月１２～１４日の旅行記を終わります。

This time, the road along the shore from Kyougasaki cape was closed suddenly, so we crossed the mountain and went to Ine bay.

There were persons who enjoyed collecting edible wild plants of spring.

 
今回、経ケ岬からの海岸沿いの道が通行止めで、山越えで伊根湾に向かった。

＜　5. I am overlooking Ine bay　from the observation deck　＞

These photos are arranged from the top in order of taking the photos from the left side to right side.

The reason why this Ine fishing port is a natural good port is that three elements overlapped.
There is a large volume of fish caught in Wakasa bay.
Then, the bay is oriented to the south that doesn’t suffer from winter angry waves while it faces the Sea of Japan.
Furthermore, the wind has little influence on the big bay because there is an island in the center of the entrance of the bay.

この伊根港が天然の良港なのは三つの要素が重なったからです。
一つは魚影が濃い若狭湾にあること。
次いで、日本海にありながら冬の荒波を受けない南向きにあること。
さらに、湾の入口中央に島があり、風の影響が少ないこと。

The first floor is garage-like space at sea level for mooring a boat and families live on the floor above.
It is because the wind has little influence on the Ine bay

舟屋は、１階が船の格納庫で２階が居室になっています。
船を海から直接にこの格納庫に入れることが出来ます。
これも波の影響が少ない伊根湾ならではです。

A cape thrusting into distant sea is Kyougasaki cape that is the northern end of Kyoto prefecture.
As we rotate around that cape, we go along Wakasa Bay.

It is the video of 19 seconds that I shot here.

遠くに突き出している岬が京都の最北端になる経ケ岬です。
あそこ回ると若狭湾に沿って進むことになります。

この場所から撮影した１９秒のビデオです。

When we are driving a car, I found a favorite cape.
This cape was shown No.2 of the map.

車で走っていて、気に入った小さな岬を見つけました。

I was surprised that people have made many fields on top of the narrow cape, and moreover have built their graveyard on the tip.
It was just time of the rice　planting.
Their village stretches long and thinly　on the mountain-side slope across the road.

私が驚いたのは、海に突き出した細い岬の上に田畑を作り、その突端に墓地を設けていたことです。
ちょうど田植えの時期でした。
村は道路を挟んで山側斜面に細長く広がっていました。

It is a view of the west side from the cape.
Inugasaki cape is seen distantly.
A small fishing port is seen on the way.

Untouched nature remains on the shoreline that we drove a car along, and this is a wonderful place for sea creature (Takeno Beach etc.).

＜　1. The island of Taiza fishing village　＞

From today, I introduce Tango Peninsula in North Kyoto.
今日から、京都北部の丹後半島を紹介します。

The top of the map shows the north.
Today, I introduce No. 1 Amino, No. 2 Taiza, and No. 3 Tateiwa rock.

The top of the map shows the south.
No. 1 is the ancient burial mound of Choshi mountain I introduce today.
NO.2 is a peninsula with an ancient burial mound in the lake, NO.3 is the beach, and No. 4 is Amino fishing port that I introduced previous time.

NO.２は離湖の古墳がある半島、NO.３は八丁浜、NO.４は網野漁港で、前回紹介しました。

 

＜　3. 　the ancient burial mound of Choshi mountain ＞
＜　３．　銚子山古墳　＞
Upper map: this ancient burial mound was built on the edge of the small hill at the end of fourth century.
The top of the map shows the north.
We walked along the brown line.

Lower map: a detailed map of the ancient burial mound.
The large keyhole-shaped tomb mound in the center is 200 meters in the total length, 20 meters in height, and has two small ancient burial mounds at the both sides.
This ancient burial mound is the largest in the Sea of Japan side, and “ three ancient burial mounds by the Sea of the Japan” including it are all in this Tango Peninsula.

It suggests this area were connected to Yamato sovereignty in Nara, and this king had extensive authority.
In addition, we saw this area were connected with the continent at previous time.

中央の前方後円墳は全長２００メートル、高さ２０メートルで、その両側に二つの小さな古墳を持っている。
この古墳は日本海側で最大級であり、丹後半島にはこれを含めた日本海三大古墳がある。

如何にこの地が奈良のヤマト王権に繋がり、ここの王が力を持っていたが伺える。
また、大陸とも繋がりがあったこも前回見ました。

This port is famous for snow crab, and this area has many legends concerning Prince Shotoku ( the 6th -7th century).
In addition, there was once a custom of facing a dead person toward continent and burying it.
This also indicates the connection with an Imperial Court of Nara in ancient times and with the continent.

この地はズワイガニ（間人蟹）で有名で、聖徳太子に纏わる伝説が多い。
また、死者を大陸に向けて埋葬する風習がかって残っていた。
ここにも、奈良の古代朝廷と大陸の繋がりがあった。

高さ２０ｍの柱状節理の岩が海岸に突き出している。

Impression
I was often surprised when I went round this peninsula without preparing.
This secluded area facing the Sea of Japan had ever the connection with continent and ancient Nara.
I find an ancient romance in original scenery of Japan.

This continues the next time.
感想
下調べもせずに、この地を巡っていると驚くことが多かった。
この日本海に面したへんぴな地が、かつては大陸と古代の奈良と繋がりがあったのです。
原風景の中に古代のロマンを見た。

I introduce the early-morning view of Amino town facing the Sea of Japan today.

I took a walk around two beaches, a lake and port early in the morning.

It was a cloud in the morning, but there was attractive atmosphere.

 

今日は、日本海に面した網野町の朝の景色を紹介します。

早朝、池と港、そして二つの海岸を散策しました。

朝は雲が出ていましたが、風情がありました。

The circumference of the lake is about 4 km, and it is the largest freshwater lake in North Kyoto.

A small mountain in the center is a peninsula, and is also an ancient burial mound.

An angler fixedly had looked at a surface of the lake.

 

周囲４ｋｍの京都北部で最大の淡水湖で、海岸まで５００ｍの位置にあります。

中央に見えるのが湖中央に突き出た半島部の小山で、古墳があります。

釣り人がじっと湖面を眺めていました。

 

 

＜　3.  A beach　＞

You can find Amino port in the back of the beach.

The scenery over the beach is Amino town that is famous for Tango Chirimen (a high-quality silk).

Today, we are going to go in this direction and go around Tango Peninsula.

 

This big sandy beach will be full of swimmers in this summer.

＜　4.  Amino fishing port　＞

This port was made in the mouth of a river.

Upper photo:  view of seaside from a place on the breakwater.

When I took a walk, I looked at a small Shinto shrine.

A signboard standing by the shrine said “here is the place of the Legend of Urashima Taro”.

The Urashima Taroa is a famous Japanese fable, and behind the story were concepts concerning Taoist immortality of ancient China.

I hit on an idea.

There are many ancient burial mounds in this Amino town.

This area is in an inconvenient location facing the Sea of Japan, and furthermore, the scale of the port is small.

Nevertheless, the scale of this Amino town is large.

I guess this area was a sea gateway to Korean Peninsula and Mainland China since ancient times.

I enjoyed thinking such thoughts.

 

On the next time, I introduce a maximum ancient burial mound in this district.

 

ここは河口に出来た漁港です。

散歩していると小さな祠があり、浦島太郎伝説の地と書かれていました。

思い当たることがありました。

この網野町には古墳が多いのです。

さらに日本海に面した不便な地にあって、漁港が小さいにも関わらず、町の規模が大きいのです。

きっと、古来より朝鮮半島や中国大陸との海の玄関口だったのでしょう。

想像しているだけで楽しくなります。

 

次回、この地方で最大の古墳を紹介します。

This beach is famous for Naki-suna（the sand making sounds when people walk on it), and a beautiful beach surrounded by a nature.

ここは「鳴き砂」で知られた海岸で、自然に囲まれた美しい海水浴場です。

Visiting from Tajima shore to Tango Peninsula 7: Daijyo-ji temple and Maruyama Ōkyo 2

但馬海岸から丹後半島を巡って ７：　大乗寺と円山応挙　２

I introduce their pictures of Maruyama school in the reception hall of Daijyo-ji temple today.

I borrowed all the photos because persons could not photograph inside this hall.

Their photos are it of “ Daijyoji Temple, Digital Museum of the Maruyama School, http://museum.daijyoji.or.jp/index.html”

I recommend you to visit it because it is splendid.

 

今日は、大乗寺、客殿にある応挙と円山派の絵を紹介します。

内部では撮影が出来ませんので、写真はすべて借用しました。

主に「大乗寺円山派デジタルミュージアム　」のものです。

ここは素晴らしいので閲覧されることをお薦めします。

 

 

 

＜　2. 　Inside the reception hall ＞

Upper fig.:  number 1-9 are main sightseeing places in the first-floor.

There is the pictures which you should look at the corridor on the way.

number 10-11 are rooms in the second-floor.

 

Lower fig.: this shows the first-floor, and the whole and the rooms indicate the Mandala of Buddhism.

This image consists of a Buddhist image room (Kannon Bodhisattva) in the center of the hall, and the Four Devas that defends Buddhism world in four corners.

actually, the Four Devas statues aren’t put on it, and for example, the room at the east corner depicts  the agriculture scenes in connection with Jikokuten ( the Guardian of the East ) that rules economy and agriculture.

途中、廊下などにも見るべき絵があります。

番号１０と１１は２階です。

 

下の図：　１階部分の配置図で各部屋が真言の曼陀羅を模しています。

中央に仏間（観音様）があって、４隅に四天王が仏教世界を護持する形になっている。

実際に四天王像が置かれているわけではなく、例えば東の角の部屋は、東方を守護し生産・経済を司る持国天に因んで農耕の模様が描かれている。

また実際の方位とこの仏教上の方位とは異なります。

 

 

 

 

＜　3.  The room of agriculture, in 1795, room number 1.　＞

＜　３．農業の間：呉春筆、１７９５年作、部屋番号１．　＞

Upper fig.:  Visitor passes through the entrance, opens the shoji ( sliding paper door), and goes into this room first.

Total painting on the fusuma (sliding door) of three sides depicted seasonal agriculture scenes from the right side.

 

Central fig.: This shows the scene of rice planting that is the enlarged picture of the second fusuma from the left of the upper fig.

Lower fig.:  this shows the threshing scene.

 

They are described only in the light and shade of the sumi (black ink), and person’s heads are largely described.

 

上の図：　ここは玄関を抜けて、障子を開けて最初に入る部屋です。

３方の襖絵に、右側から、田植えから稲刈りまでが季節を追って描かれている。

 

中央の図：　上の図の左から２枚目の襖絵を拡大したもので、田植えを示す。

下の図：　稲刈り後の脱穀の様子。

 

すべて墨の濃淡だけで描かれており、呉春は頭部を大きく描く特徴がある。

 

 

 

 

 

＜　4.  the room of peacock by Ōkyo in 1795, room number 2. 　＞

＜　４．孔雀の間、円山応挙筆、１７９５年作、部屋番号２．　＞

Upper fig.:  this room is the largest room and is in front of the Buddhist image room.

Pines and peacocks are drawn in gold foil only by the light and shade of sumi.

Parts that are thickly painted with sumi, pine needles and peacock’s wings look like green color.

It is mysterious.

 

Central fig.:  paintings on the fusuma in front of the Buddhist image room.

Lower fig.:  opening the fusuma.

 

Ōkyo died in several months after the completion of this picture.

 

上の図：　この部屋は最大の部屋で仏間に面している。

松と孔雀が金箔地に墨の濃淡だけで描かれている。

この構図は本尊の観音の化仏である阿弥陀が孔雀に座することに由来している。

墨が濃く塗られた部分、孔雀の羽根や松葉は緑色に見えるから不思議です。

応挙はこの絵の完成後数か月後に逝去した。

 

 

 

＜　5. 　The room of Japanese fiber banana by Ōkyo in 1787, room nouber 3. ＞

This room’s painting depicts a famous politician of Tang, a old man of the white clothing, in connection with Zochoten that rules government.

He drew this on the gold foil with color paints of blue, green, cinnabar, and sumi.

 

 

この部屋は政治を司る増長天に因んで、唐の政治家、郭子儀（白装束の老人）を描いています。

平和と安定の象徴で、お目出度い絵として描かれます。

これは金箔地に青、緑、朱の絵の具と墨で描いています。

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

＜　6. The room of landscapes by Ōkyo in 1787, room nouber 4. 　＞

＜　６．山水の間、円山応挙筆、１７８７年作、部屋番号４．　＞

 

This room is for persons of high rank, and was made by exquisite workmanship.

Upper fig.:  these paintings describe that the water falling from deep mountains and dark valleys flows into the sea.

He drew it on the gold foil with only sumi.

 

Lower fig.:  there is a waterfall in deep mountains on the left side.

 

ここは位の高い人を迎えるための部屋で、凝った造りになっています。

上の図：　深山幽谷から流れ落ちる水が、やがて大海に注ぐ様子が描かれている。

中央隅の右側から流れ落ちた水が右に流れ、畳の下をくぐり、やがて左側の大海に至る。

金箔地に墨で描かれている。

 

下の図：　左が深山幽谷から流れ落ちる滝です。

 

 

 

 

＜　7. 　The room of puppy, room number 6. ＞

＜　７．狗子の間、山本守礼筆、部屋番号６．　＞[

Upper fig.:  opening shoji (sliding paper door ) and going in, we can see playing puppies under plum flowers.

Central fig.:  moreover, opening the fusuma(sliding door ), we can go into the room of mountains.

 

In the previous Japanese painting, dog was described as a holy thing, but Ōkyo preferably described puppies as everyday subject matter.

 

上の図：　障子を開けて入ると、梅の花の下で遊ぶ子犬たちに出会う。

中央の図：　さらに襖を開けると、秀山の間に至る。

 

以前の日本画では、犬は獅子や狛犬など神聖なものとして描かれていたが、応挙は日常的な素材として子犬を好んで描いた。

This theme is boys in China.

この部屋は兄弟の画家が二つのテーマで絵を描き、これは兄が描いた中国を題材にした「少年行図」です。

It is this picture that I was surprised most.

The expression of the monkey is really rich, and there is dynamism.

This is drawn without a draft at a stroke, so it indicates great ability of the artist.

The narrow painting on upper part of on the fusuma describes moth and butterfly.

私が最も驚いたのがこの絵です。

実に猿の表情が豊かで、躍動感がある。

これは下書きなしで一気呵成に描かれており、作者の力量がうかがえる。

襖の上にある細長い絵が、山口素絢筆「蛾蝶図」です。

 

 

Impression

I feel that there are breathing paintings here.

There is also reproduction images here, but we can see their paintings as the placement of the paintings that the artist aimed at.

These all art works were made by Maruyama school.

 

Ōkyo and Maruyama school that were the mainstream in Kyoto in the middle of the Edo period.

It is amazing that their art works gather in the out-of-the-way place of the Sanin region.

感想

生きている絵を見る思いがしました。

複製画になったものもあるが、作者が意図した絵の配置のままで、私たちは絵を見ることが出来ます。

襖絵だけでなく欄間の彫り物、掛け軸、屏風など、すべてが円山派のものです。

 

江戸時代中期、京都画壇を代表した応挙と円山派の絵が、この山陰の片田舎に集まっていたこと自体も驚きです。

これは応挙の恩返しもあったが、この寺に勢いがあったからだろう。

 

これら作品の制作中の１９８８年に、天明の京都大火が起こり、アトリエの寺と絵が消失したらしい。

それでも、絵は再度、描かれることになった。

当時の住職と応挙の心意気がすがすがしい。

Today, I introduce the temple being on the way to the mountain from Kasumi Port in Hyogo.

There were amazing things in the seemingly ordinary temple.

Many pictures of Maruyama Ōkyo and the pupils were breathing there.

I introduce them several times from now on.

 

今日は、兵庫県の香住港の山側にある寺を紹介します。

一見なんの変哲もない寺に凄いものがありました。

円山応挙と一門の絵がそこで生き続けているのです。

数回に分けて、紹介します。

 

 

About Daijyo-ji temple

This is a temple of the Shingon sect of Buddhism, and it is said that priest Gyogi founded it in the 8^th century.

Afterwards, it became extinct, but a chief priest of it achieved the restoration in the end of 18th century of the latter half of the Edo era.

When this chief priest visited Kyoto, he knew the talent of Maruyama Ōkyo, and gave him much money.

After Maruyama Ōkyo became successful as an artist, he provided many pictures to this temple with 12 pupils to show its gratitude.

In this temple, there are more than one hundred of pictures and carvings, and the main works are still used in each room now.

So this temple is called Ōkyo temple.

 

 

 

大乗寺について

ここは真言宗の寺で、行基上人が８世紀に創建したと伝えられている。

その後、廃れていたが、江戸時代後期の１８世紀末、ここの住職が再興をはたす。

この住職が京都訪問のおり、応挙の才能を知り、彼に銀三貫目（約５０両？）を与えます。

応挙は大成したのち、その恩に報いるために、弟子12名とともにこの寺に絵を提供した。

百点を超える絵や彫り物があり、その主要なものが各部屋に今も当時のまま使用されています。

それで、ここは応挙寺とも呼ばれている。

Upper photo: if I passed through the main gate, I saw the excellent entrance hall that an Ōkyo statue was set in the center of.

Essentially, visitor enters the reception hall from this entrance hall, and opens the back shoji and enters a waiting room.

Tourist enters from kitchen of the right hand and pays the admission 800 yen.

And the tourist looks around many paintings of fusuma (sliding door), folding-screen paintings, and fretworks of ranma (transom) in the reception hall along with receiving explanation.

本来、客はこの玄関から客殿に入り、この奥の障子を開けて農業の間（待合の座敷）に入ります。

見学者は、右手の庫裡（台所）から入り、入場料８００円を支払います。

そして、説明を受けながら客殿の十数部屋の襖絵、屏風絵、欄間の彫り物を見て回ります。

Today, I introduce the scenery from Yumura Onsen to the estuary of Maruyama River.

We saw fisherman villages and beaches while we drove through mountain villages and drove along Tajima shore.

 

今日は、湯村温泉から円山川の河口までの景色を紹介します。

山村を抜け、但馬海岸の海岸線をドライブし、漁村と浜を眺めました。

This port town was crowded with crabbing in winter, but was empty at this time.

We had lunch in tribute to crab here.

The sky began to cloud over suddenly.

急に空が曇って来ました。

In the summer about 30 years ago, I came here for sea bathing with my family well.

And I came to Kannabe Kogen of this mountainside for skiing in winter.

I brought back pleasant memories.

 

３０年ほど前の夏、家族を連れて海水浴によく来ました。

冬はここの山手にある神鍋高原にもスキーに来ました。

楽しい思い出で蘇ります。

Now this sea is calm, but this Sea of Japan becomes stormy in winter.

Thereby, this shoreline becomes rugged, and this sea near to the deep mountains brings rich food.

However, the fisherman must fish at the risk of life.

Visiting from Tajima shore to Tango Peninsula 4: Pleasure boat of Tajima shore

但馬海岸から丹後半島を巡って　４：　但馬海岸の遊覧船

We went around Tajima shore of San’in Kaigan Global Geopark with a pleasure boat on May 13, 2016.

On this day, it was fine, and I enjoyed watching various strangely shaped rocks along with being blown by a sea breeze.

 

２０１６年５月１３日、午前中、山陰海岸ジオパークの但馬海岸を遊覧船で巡りました。

この日は快晴で、爽やかな潮風に吹かれて奇岩を楽しみました。

About San’in Kaigan Global Geopark

These beautiful appearances of shore are constructed from various rocks, which had been created by the volcanic activity, and were changed by repeated mountain making and the abrasive action.

The Japanese archipelago began to separate from a continent since 23 million years ago, and the Sea of Japan was made before long.

It can be said that this scenery and rich and varied seafood are created in this process.

 

山陰海岸ジオパークについて

この海岸の姿は火山活動によって出来た岩が造山運動を繰り返し、侵食されて出来たものです。

日本列島は２３００万年前から大陸と分離し始め、やがて日本海が出来ました。

この地の景観や豊かな海の幸は、大陸と一体だった時から日本海形成に至る過程で生み出されたと言えます。

This was rightly Japanese food, Washoku or Kaiseki ryori in Japanese.

Tajima beef is one of brands being representative of Japanese beef, and is using cattle of this district.

Shabushabu is a Japanese dish in which extremely thin slices of meat are cooked by swishing them several times in dashi (soup stock) boiled, dipped in sauce and eaten.

 

但馬牛は日本の肉牛を代表するブランドで、この地方で飼育されている。

しゃぶしゃぶは、薄い肉を煮えた出し汁に通し、タレにつけて食べる鍋料理です。

ここでは写真２の茶色のゴマダレにつけます。

These two beef dishes aren’t served as normal cuisine.

Shabushabu, hand-formed sushi, and the roast beef of Tajima beef are one of special dish in this time.

 

この二点の肉料理は、通常の会席料理には出ません。

但馬牛のしゃぶしゃぶ、にぎり鮨、ローストビーフが今回の目玉料理です。

This is like an egg custard, and consists of an egg mixture flavored with soy sauce and dashi, with numerous ingredients such as shiitake mushrooms, kamaboko, and boiled shrimp into tea-cup-like container.

It is an ice cream and a strawberry.

アイスクリームとイチゴでした。

 

Supplementary explanation

Special dishes of this dinner are Tajima beef, hilgendorf saucord, and Abalone.

I was really impressed by the fact that all dishes took a lot of trouble with cooking, and tastes of these all also were delicious.

Besides, it was splendid that a hot dish or cold dish was served at right temperature appropriately.

This dish is too much quantity for me, old man, but I ate all.

 

With the exception of the beef dishes, the cuisine is seasoned with soy sauce and dashi (soup stock) made from kombu (tangle) or dried bonito.

Therefore, it may be salty for foreign people.

However, I think that this cuisine culture in Japan is worth tasting.

 

 

補足説明

この夕食の目玉料理は但馬牛、ノドグロ、アワビの料理でした。

私はすべての料理に手間がかけられ、美味だったことに感心した。

しかも温かい料理、冷たい料理が適温で適宜出てくることも素晴らしかった。

年配には食事の量が多すぎましたが、すべて食べました。

 

肉料理以外は、醤油、昆布と鰹節などからの出し汁で味付けしてあり、外国の方にはしょっぱいかもしれません。

しかし、この日本の食文化は味わう価値があると思います。

It is almost basic breakfast.

From the left, it is boiled tofu, pickles, a seasoned dried laver, small fishes boiled down in soy, two whitefish pastes, a seasoned cod roe, a rolled egg, and a dried fish.

A rice and miso soup is added to this.

概ね定番の朝食です。

左から湯豆腐、漬物、味付け海苔、佃煮（ちりめんじゃこ）、練り物（竹輪）、明太子、卵焼、干し魚などです。

これにご飯と味噌汁が付きます。

 

最後に

今回、この旅館に泊まったのは、新聞広告の特別優待券を手に入れ、安く泊まれたからです。

大満足でした。

About Yumura Onsen　

There is this traditional hot-spring resort along a mountain stream in Hyogo prefecture.

If you descend about 10 km from here, can reach the nice-looking Sea of Japan.

This place is within deep mountains having good skiing area in this neighborhood.

You can enjoy ski and crab dish in winter, and do sea bathing in summer.

 

湯村温泉について

兵庫県美方郡の谷川沿いに古くからの温泉街があります。

ここから１０ｋｍほど下るときれいな日本海で、この周囲にはスキー場に恵まれた深い山々があります。

冬は蟹料理とスキー、夏は海水浴を楽しむことが出来ます。

The inn also has a big bathhouse ” Atago no yu” in the main building, but I introduce only this “Tenjin no yu” because this detached bathhouse is splendid.

The guest changes the use of two bathhouses at morning and at night.

旅館の本館内にも大きな浴場「愛宕の湯」があるのですが、この離れの浴場が素晴らしいので、こちらだけを紹介します。

宿泊客は朝と夜で、二つの浴場の利用を交替します。

There are outdoor baths and indoor baths in this detached bathhouse.

These two baths are a part of the indoor baths.

 

離れの浴場には、露天風呂と屋内風呂があります。

この二つの風呂は屋内の風呂の一部です。

ここは小さな旅館ですが、お風呂の作りに工夫が凝らされており、サウナや泡風呂など種類も多いです。

少し残念なのは、設備が古いことです。

上のお風呂に加水し適温にした源泉が注ぎ、溢れたお湯が下のお風呂に流れて来る。

したがって二つの風呂の湯温に差があり、適温が選べます。

Probably Japanese age guests will take a bath before a dinner, before going to bed, and also in next morning.

If it is open-air bath of hot spring, it is the best.

 

You are feeling a chill in your face, soaking in hot water in a cloud of steam, and seeing the trees of neighboring mountains that is shining by a morning sun.This will take you to a healing time.

“Namuamidabutsu, Na-muamidabu.”

おそらく日本の年配客は、夕食前、就寝前、それから朝風呂にもお風呂に入るでしょう。

それが温泉の露天風呂なら最高です。

 

顔に冷気を感じながら、湯気が立ち込める湯に浸かり、周囲の山々の木々が朝日に照らされるの見ながらの朝の露天風呂は悦楽の境地へと誘います。

但馬海岸から丹後半島を巡って　１：　はじめに

We traveled in San-in from May 12, 2016 to 14.

I enjoyed hot spring and Japanese food along with looking for original scenery of Japan.

Today, it is the digest

 

２０１６年５月１２日から１４日にかけて、山陰を旅行しました。

日本の原風景を探しながら、温泉と日本料理を味わって来ました。

今日は、そのダイジェストです。

Our Japanese trip is always accompanied by hot spring, moreover a kaiseki ryori ( an elegant Japanese meal served in delicate courses) and a morning bath are indispensable.

I very yearned for Japanese food used of seafood when I ate European dishes in the cruise of the Mediterranean Sea.

I introduce at a later date the dish that our hotels served.

 

 

日本人の旅には温泉が付きもので、会席料理と朝風呂は不可欠です。

クルーズでヨーロッパ料理を食べていると無性に海の幸の日本料理が恋しくなりました。

旅館で出た料理を後に紹介します。

We enjoyed the superb view of the shore on a pleasure boat from Hamasaka Port.

The rice field being on a small cape, and many houses standing on the coastal slope remain the mode of old living of Japan.

岬の上に作られた水田、海沿いの斜面に並ぶ家々は、日本の昔の暮らしを物語っています。

This fishing port is famous for the funaya houses (there is a boathouse in a private house), and the mode comes from blessings bestowed by nature.

ここは舟屋で有名な漁港で、その姿は自然が生んだ良港の賜物です。

It was lucky to have visited this temple.

In the old main temple, there are a lot of paintings of painter Oukyo Maruyama of the middle of the Edo era, and we can see it as the sliding panel paintings of each room.

I introduce it at a later date.

この寺に出会えたことは幸運でした。

この古い寺の本堂に江戸中期の画家円山応挙と一門の絵が多数あり、それも各部屋の襖絵として見ることが出来ます。

後に、詳しく紹介します。
