淡路島の山上からの夜景を紹介します。
撮影は２０１６年８月１２日、夜９時頃です。
＜ ２．神戸方面を望む ＞
一番明るいのは須磨方面で、その右側遠方が神戸方面です。
この日は流星群を見るために山上に行きました。
二つの流星を見ることが出来ました。
空は晴れていたのですが、この時期、淡路島全体がすっぽりと水蒸気に包まれており、月の光がそれに乱反射し、天空がほんのり乳白色になっているように感じました。
星はくっきりとは見えませんが、味わい深い夜景が広がっていました。
残念なことに、私の写真ではその雰囲気をお伝え出来ませんでした。

この南の方向に淡路島の山の稜線が伸びているのですが、遠くの山影は写っていませんでした。

冬の淡路島 ： サントピアマリーナ

Today, I introduce a resort area in a sore of southeastern Awaji-island.
It is Suntopia Marina and Sumoto Hot Spring mainly.
I visited here at 10:00 – 11:30 A.M. on December 20.
今日は、淡路島南東部の海岸のリゾートを紹介します。
主にサントピアマリーナと洲本温泉です。
訪れたのは１２月２０日の１０：００～１１：３０です。

This aria is in the Seto Inland Sea National Park, and is sandwiched between a mountain and a seashore facing Tomoga-Island Channel.
There is the Sumoto Hot Spring immediately, and Yura port in the south end.
It is the largest resort area in Awaji-island, and has a big yacht harbor, many tennis courts, hotels, and resort apartment buildings.
Around this area, people can enjoy fishing, yacht, tennis, hot spring, and seafoods with the family.
When my children were small, I came here with my family well, too.
ここは瀬戸内海国立公園にあり、山と友ヶ島水道を臨む海岸線に挟まれ、すぐ隣りには洲本温泉、南端には由良港があります。
ここは淡路島で最大規模のリゾートで、ヨットハーバー、テニスコート、ホテル、リゾートマンションが揃っています。
ここ一帯で、釣りやヨット、テニス、温泉、海の幸などを家族で楽しむことが出来ます。
私も子供が小さい頃は家族でよく来ました。

Probably he caught shellfishes.
Blessed with beautiful weather, I strolled in the Suntopia marina, and then had lunch in a hotel of the Sumoto Hot Spring.
It was a calm day in winter.

それは大阪湾海上交通センターのビル屋上です。
About Traffic Advisory Service Center in Osaka gulf.
From this roof, we can look around 360 degrees such as Osaka gulf, Kobe, Akashi Strait, Seto Inland Sea, without an obstacle.
This is a facility of Japan Coast Guard.
Prior to use, please register at the entrance.
The use time is from 9:00 to 17:00.

この屋上からは、３６０度、障害物なしに大阪湾、神戸、明石海峡、瀬戸内海が見渡せます。
ここは海上保安庁の施設です。
使用前に玄関で記帳して下さい。

今年、やっと紅葉を満喫しました。

今日は、8月4日の公園の花々を紹介します。
この日は日射しが強く、雲は無いが霞みが淡路島を覆っていた。
＜ ２．今を盛りと咲くヒマワリ ＞
「大地の虹」の北側では２７品種、約２４０００株のヒマワリが順次開花し８月中旬まで見られます。
今、花はヒマワリが一番です。

ヒマワリの向こうに「花の中海」と「ポプラの丘」が見える。

春はここら辺りでチューリップが目を楽しませてくれた。

ピンクや白、黄のポーチュラカなどが咲いています。
あとがき
公園内を歩いていると、多くの作業者が花壇の植え替えや手入れを行っていた。
炎天下での作業、ご苦労様です。
平日は来園者が少ないが、それでも海外―香港や台湾、韓国から来られた家族連れを見かけました。
淡路島に来ていただいたたことを嬉しく思います。

＜ １． 展示室２： トロピカルガーデン ＞
今日は、この海峡公園に隣接している温室を紹介します。
これは兵庫県立淡路夢舞台の中にある「奇蹟の星の植物館」です。
写真は４月２４日撮影したものです。
奇蹟の星の植物館について
この植物館は少し普通の温室と違います。
熱帯の珍しい植物を紹介するだけではなく、植物が私達と共生している姿を紹介しています。
館内の見学は、エレベーターで3階に行き、順次、スロープを下っていきながら行います。
植物館のすぐ横には、２００種類のバラが咲くローズガーデンがあります。
２４日の時点では、ローズガーデンのバラはあまり咲いていませんでした。

展示室１： プランツギャラリー。乾燥地に生きる植物を紹介。
展示室２： トロピカルガーデン。温室ならではの熱帯植物を紹介。
展示室６： シダルーム。小さく洞窟のような部屋に日陰の植物が一杯です。
＜ ３． 展示室５： フラワーショースペース ＞
現在、このスペースでバラ祭（４月１８日～５月１７日）が行われています。
２００種類以上のバラが彩りを添え、５月３日～５日にはイベントが行われます。
＜ ４． 上から展示室３、４、アトリウム ＞
展示室３： 花と緑のある暮らし。日本の伝統的な園芸文化をこじんまり紹介。
展示室４： 癒しの庭。植物を多様な表現で見せる。琳派展の展示が残っている。
アトリウム： 都市空間と植物の共生を紹介。
今日が、最後のチューリップ紹介です。
写真は４月１８日に撮影したものです。
ひとつひとつのチューリップも綺麗ですが、様々なチューリップを組み合わせて多数植えてある光景は素晴らしいです。
彩りの妙、小さな花との組合せは、まるで大地に広がる花火のようです。
花壇の現状
４月２４日、現在、開花しているチューリップは最盛期の３０％ぐらいです。
また花が開きすぎたり、色褪せたりしているのも目立ちます。
このような花壇を見ていると寂しい限りです。
しかし、ネモフィラやナデシコ、ビオラがチューリップに替わり花壇を埋めつくし始め、もうすぐ見頃を迎えます。
日々、花壇の植え替えや手入れが行われ、目を楽しませてくれます。
今日は、チューリップを紹介します。

＜ ３． 花の種類 ＞
公園の花々について
公園内では、チューリップなどの球根５０万球、３００種が次から次へと花を咲かせています。
４月１８日現在、チューリップの早咲き分は終わり、遅咲きが見頃です。
チューリップが最も多く咲く時期は１週間前にピークを迎えました。
それでもチューリップの約７０％は咲いていました。
今、写真３のアネモネＡ、ネモフィラＢが花壇を彩り始め、これからピークを迎えます。
丘陵部にはリンビングストンデージーＣが咲き始めています。
チューリップは世界に６０００種類あり、花の形と色の種類は無数にあります。
無い色は青ぐらいでしょうか。
チューリップの素晴らしさは、花びらの色の濃さと艶にあり、さらに群生していると圧巻です。

今日は、公園の見所を紹介します。
写真は4月2日撮影のものです。
＜ ２．明石海峡公園の衛星写真 ＞
この写真の実際の大きさは、上下９００ｍ、左右５００ｍほどある。
黄色の矢印が北を示す。
赤字の番号はゲート、青色は施設を示す。
１＝東浦ゲート。ウェスティンホテルや国際会議場に近く、バス来訪者には便利。
２＝海岸口ゲート。「バーベキュー広場」（７）や「海のテラス」に近い。
３＝淡路口ゲート。「芝生広場」、大型複合遊具「夢っこランド」「ビジター棟」などの子供の遊び場と大きな駐車場に隣接している。
上記の子供の遊び場は、写真外上方に４００ｍほど広がっている。
４＝連絡口ゲート。夢舞台側の植物園（５）や百段苑、レストラン＆ショップ（６）に近い。
青色の楕円枠は、前回３話で紹介した丘陵部です。
＜ ３． 淡路口ゲート周辺、写真上部 ＞
A： 移ろいの庭。今回は宝塚をイメージする飾り付けが行われているが、通常は広い芝生で潮風を受けて過ごせる所。
右に見える白い建物がビジター棟で、催しがよく行われている。
B、C： 風の丘。なだらかな丘の両側に趣の異なる花壇がある。
C：階段花壇。ここはチューリップが美しいのですが、4月9日現在、見頃を過ぎました。
＜ ４． 「海のテラス」 ＞
E： 大阪湾の向こうに須磨や神戸、六甲山が見える。
＜ ５． 東浦口ゲートと「花の中海」（大きな池）の周辺 ＞
F： 「大地の虹・北花壇」から「花の中海」と「ポプラの丘」を望む。
G： 「大地の虹・南花壇」から東浦口ゲートとウェスティンホテルを望む。
写真F、Gの範囲に、この公園のチューリップの８割以上が植えられています。
H： 東浦口ゲート近くから「花の中海」と「花の島」を望む。

早咲き、中咲き、遅咲きのチューリップを組合せて植えてあり、もっとも揃って咲くのが４月６日～１１日頃で見頃になります。
しかし近くで見ると、早咲きの分は花が開いていたり、カットされていたりします。
またチューリップと共に植えられている花々―黄色の水仙、紫色のムスカリ、青色のネモフィラ、が日々花壇の色合いを変えて行き、５月まで楽しませてくれます。
＜ ６． 「花の中海」山側 ＞
Ｉ： 「花の丘道」。
Ｊ： 「ポプラの丘」が前方に見えて来た。
Ｋ： 「ポプラの丘」から「花の中海」を望む。
実は、この「ポプラの丘」に２列で林立するポプラ並木が圧巻だったのですが、去年の台風で百本が倒れてしまい、残りは十本ほどになりました。
これが見応えのある姿になるには十年以上かかるようです。

今回は、公園中央部にある丘と森を紹介します。
日本の自然景観が巧みに造形され、特に高台からの見晴らしが素晴らしいです。
主に「せせらぎ広場」、「空のテラス」、「月のテラス」、「水の岩戸」などを巡りました。

この公園では「春一番の丘」で１００本の河津桜が３月に一番初めに咲きます。
後は、色々な桜が順番に咲いていきます。
今が最盛期です。
＜ ５．「月のテラス」と「ポプラの丘」 ＞
今、チューリップが日増しに咲き誇るようになってきました。
最盛期は４月５日～１０日ですが、既に見応えがあります。
色とりどりに咲くチューリップ、ムスカリ、水仙が、山と海が迫る斜面に咲いています。日射しが暖かくても潮風が吹いて爽やかな散策が楽しめます。

今日は、明石海峡公園付属のバーベキュー広場を紹介します。
ここは海峡公園の海側にあり、すぐ海峡公園にも入場出来ます。

この広場は海峡公園に隣接しており、無料で使用出来ます。
・利用者が多い場合は敷地内であれば可能です。

バーベキュー広場には行くには、海峡公園の海岸南駐車場に車を停めて下さい。
駐車場の突き当たりに進み、写真の塔の前を右に入って下さい。
ここが海峡公園の海岸口ゲートで、ここでバーベキュー利用の受付を行います。

海岸には降りることが出来ません。
あとがき
山と海に挟まれた芝生の広場で、皆さんはバーベキューをのんびりと楽しまれています。
今の時期、利用者は少ないですが、これから夏場に向かって来訪者が増えていきます。
ここから海峡公園の利用も便利です。
次回は、海峡公園内の丘陵部を紹介します。
＜ １．花火鳥 ＞
今、淡路花博２０１５が淡路島全域で行われています。
その内の国営明石海峡公園の様子を、これから2ヶ月間に渡ってお知らせします。
今日は、その最初で、写真は３月２６日撮影分です。
＜ ２．「大地の虹」から撮影、右手に「花火鳥」が見える ＞
「花火鳥」は淡路島大震災からの復活を願って花で作られた不死鳥です。
みどころ
期間中、頻繁に色々な催事が行われており皆で楽しめます。
今、花では桜、アカシア、水仙、チューリップ、ムスカリが綺麗に咲いています。
この期間中、最大の見応えは６０万株３００種類のチューリップで、次ぎから次ぎへと咲いて行きます。
今は早咲きのチューリップが咲き、最も咲き誇るのは４月５日から１０日頃でしょう。
淡路島国営明石海峡公園について
ここは淡路島の北端にあり、明石海峡大橋を渡って直ぐの所にあります。
この公園は海と山に抱かれた雄大な日本庭園と花園です。
長さ１．３ｋｍの中に花壇、池、丘、林、芝生公園、遊園地が配されています。
また隣接して淡路夢舞台（ホテル、レストラン、ショッピング街、温室など）があります。
淡路花博２０１５、花みどりフェアについて
期間 ３月２１日～５月３１日
開催場所 淡路島国営明石海峡公園と夢舞台、淡路ファームパークとイングランドの丘、他3箇所。

淡路島 冬の海岸５

The cape being washed by a raging wave of winter leaves only big rocks.
There is a short walking path, and there was once a tunnel made of the natural rock that a person could go through to the other side.
冬の荒波に洗われる岬は大きな岩だけを残している。
ここには短い散策路が作られており、かつては反対側に抜ける自然の岩のトンネルがあった。

Ei fishing port (lower photo) is also a town of incense stick, and the history started from the Edo Period, and this production volume arrives 70 percent of the nation.
By a direction of wind, I have even smelt incense stick at a road distant from the fishing port.
下の江井漁港は線香の町でもあり、その歴史は江戸時代から始まり、全国の7割を生産しています。
風向きによっては漁港から離れた道路からでも線香の香りがすることがあります。

This swimming beach of Taga-no-hama is situated between Gunnge and Ei.
Here, the water is clear, there are big sandy beach and parking area, and so I recommend it.
I go to my most favorite Myoujin-zaki at Nishiura coast next time.
It becomes the last visit place this time.
郡家と江井の間に、多賀の浜海水浴場があります。
ここは水が綺麗で大きな砂浜と駐車場が整備されており、お薦めです。
次回、私が西浦海岸で最も好きな明神崎へ向かいます。
これが今回最後の訪問地となります。

And it is written in “The tale of the Heike” at the end of the 12th century as a beautiful island.
古事記や日本書紀には「おのころ島」として、また平家物語に美しい絵島として書かれています。

Akashi Strait Bridge is viewable hazily with yellow dust.
Here is a good fishing ground because the tide is intense.
黄砂に霞む明石海峡大橋が見える。
ここは潮流が激しいので、良い漁場です。

When I’m driving beachfront roads, I meet many seabirds that enjoy sunbathing.
海岸沿いを走っていると、日向ぼっこを楽しむ海鳥たちに出会う。

Today, this sea is calm, but strong west wind often blows in winter, and blows up the salt water on beachfront roads.
The upper photograph shows the south side.
The lower photograph shows Murotsu fishing port.
On the next time, I visit some small fishing ports and seashores.
今日、この海は穏やかですが、冬は強い西風が吹き道路に潮が吹き上がります。
上の写真は南側を見ています。
下の写真は室津漁港です。
次回は、小さな漁港と海岸をいくつか訪れます。
淡路島 冬の海岸２

Today, I introduce the sceneries of Higashi-ura seashore of Awaji Island.
Photographing spots are the seashore or the harbor of Ooiso, Ura and Kariya.
I took a picture on February 25.
This day, clouds were rising in the morning, furthermore I couldn’t take a broad view because haze and yellow dust veiled.
However, the clouds disappeared from the afternoon, and it became balmy and spring weather.
今日は、淡路島、東浦海岸の景色を紹介します。
撮影地点は大磯、浦、刈屋の港や海岸です。
２月２５日に撮影しました。
この日の朝方は雲がかかり、さらに霞と黄砂で遠望がきかなかった。
しかし午後からは雲が無くなり、爽やかな春の陽気になりました。

Ooiso harbor of the top photo was crowded with departure and arrival harbor for ferries until Akashi Kaikyo Strait Bridge spanned.

淡路島 冬の海岸１

Today, it is scenery that I photographed from the road between Higashiura and Sumoto.
これから数回にわたり、冬の淡路島、海岸の景色を紹介します。
今日は、大阪湾側の東浦から洲本の間の道路から撮影した写真です。
The photography day was February 19, 2015, and clouds were rising, but when the clouds drifted away, Osaka bay was beautiful.
Taking photographs of these began from Kamaguchi of Higashiura, and finished close to Sumoto in last.
撮影日は２０１５年２月１９日で、雲は多かったが、晴れ間が覗くと大阪湾がきれいでした。
写真は東浦釜口から始まり、最後は洲本近くで終わりました。

Now, it is a picking season.
This work is hard at cold windy day.
今は最盛期でしょう。
寒い風のある日はきつい仕事です。

It was windy a little on this day, but when the sun shone bright between the clouds, I felt coming of spring a little.
この日は、少し風がありましたが、陽が差し込むと少し春の到来を感じさせました。

From my yard and my kitchen garden, I introduce the autumn harvest and the breath.
暑さの名残を告げる虫の声も消え、いつしか秋が訪れました。
自宅の畑と庭から、秋の実りと息吹を紹介します。

We did not need to buy other than cabbage and lettuce about vegetable for over one month, because the vegetables that could be taken from my kitchen garden were good harvests.
This summer, there were many delightful things.
Any one of two kinds of watermelons and oriental melons being fresh came to be provided at the dessert almost everyday.
The malus of my yard produced first the red fruit after ten years when we planted it.
今年は豊作
今年は畑から採れる野菜が豊作で、ここ1ヶ月以上、野菜でキャベツとレタス以外は買わずに済みました。
今年の夏は、嬉しいことがたくさんありました。
採れたての小玉ズイカ、黄ズイカ、まくわうりのいずれかが毎日のように食卓のデザートに上るようになりました。
庭の姫リンゴが、植えて１０年経って初めて赤い実を付けました。

Impressive encounter
Although there were a lot of new things this year, I introduce to you impressive encounter at the end.
It was a time when I did watering to the green soybean that we planted as always every year.
Suddenly, a small brown thing went ahead several meters quickly.
If I looked gingerly, it was a small rabbit.
It is settling in for about one week.
Therefore the watering became my fun.
It seemed to have escaped from the mountain nearby.
The rabbit is not going to escape in a large way.
This situation is new one since we started the kitchen garden ten years ago.
Until now, I have had a chance to nurture a larva of swallowtail butterfly attaching to leaf of carrot.
It is a good old memory.
ときめく出会い
今年は始めてのことが多かったのですが、最後に感動的な出会いを紹介します。
それは毎年植えている枝豆にいつものように水やりをしている時でした。
突如、茶色の小さなものが数ｍ小走りに動きました。
恐る恐るのぞくと小さなウサギでした。
ここ1週間ほどは、住み着いてくれています。
それからと言うもの、水やりが楽しくなりました。
近くの山から逃げて来たようです。
ウサギはまだ私達には懐いていませんが、大きく逃げようともしません。
このようなことは、１０年前から畑をしてから始めてのことです。
今までに、人参の葉についたアゲハチョウの幼虫を蝶まで育てたことがありました。
幼虫の世話、蝶との別れが今でも、懐かしく思い出されます。

今日は、淡路の最北端にある温泉と道の駅を紹介します。

The hot spring “ village Matuho”
It is a hot spring on the hillside in northern edge of Awaji island.
This maximum charm is to be able to look at Akashi Strait Bridge and the strait from an open-air bath.
It is good to be soaking in a bathtub along with looking at the ship that goes back and forth leisurely.
There are a restaurant and a souvenir shop in this hot spring.
美湯・松帆の郷
ここは淡路島の北端に突き出した山の中腹にある温泉です。
ここの最大の魅力は露天風呂から明石海峡大橋と海峡を眺められることです。
のんびり行き交う船を見ながら湯船に浸かるのは良いものです。
この温泉にはレストランと土産物屋店があります。

The roadside station “Awaji”
This view from here is also good, because this roadside station is just beside the biggest bridge.
There are a restaurant, a souvenir shop, and a seafood shop in it.
This restaurant serves Japanese-style and western-style meals.
Recently, our liking is the bowl of rice topped with sashimi in the seafood shop.
In the back of the shop, there is live-box that sharp-toothed eel, octopus and other fishes swim in.
I took a fancy for eating fresh delicacies of the sea at ease.
道の駅あわじ
ここは明石海峡大橋の直ぐ横にある道の駅で、ここからの明石海峡と大橋の眺めも良い。
ここにはレストラン、土産物店、海鮮丼店があります。
レストランの海峡楼には和洋食が揃っています。
最近、私達夫婦が気に入っているのは海鮮丼の海鮮館です。
この店の裏には生け簀があり、ハモやタコ、魚が泳いでいます。
気軽に新鮮な海の幸を食べられるのが気に入っています。
